Updated on 16 Oct 2026
What you get
Maharashtra adds Rs 6,000 a year, in three instalments of Rs 2,000, to the Rs 6,000 farmer families get from the central PM-KISAN scheme, so an eligible family receives Rs 12,000 a year. The money is paid by Direct Benefit Transfer into Aadhaar-linked bank accounts, following the PM-KISAN beneficiary list.
Who can apply
Farmer families (husband, wife and minor children) in Maharashtra who hold cultivable land and are eligible for PM-KISAN. The PM-KISAN exclusions apply: institutional landholders, and families with a present or former constitutional post holder, minister, MP, MLA, mayor or district panchayat chairperson, a serving or retired government officer or employee (other than Group D), a pensioner drawing Rs 10,000 a month or more, an income tax payer in the last assessment year, or a practising doctor, engineer, lawyer, chartered accountant or architect.
