e-Kisan Upaj Nidhi (e-KUN)
Post-harvest loans against crops stored in registered warehouses
FarmersAll of India
Updated on 16 Oct 2026
What you get
An online gateway where a farmer whose produce is stored in a warehouse registered with WDRA can pledge its electronic Negotiable Warehouse Receipt (e-NWR) for a bank loan. Banks on the gateway show their interest rates and amounts, the farmer picks an offer and gets a digital in-principle approval, then completes the paperwork at the bank. The loan lets a farmer hold the crop for a better price instead of selling straight after harvest.
Who can apply
Farmers who keep their produce in a warehouse registered with the Warehousing Development and Regulatory Authority (WDRA) and hold an electronic Negotiable Warehouse Receipt for it.
How to apply
Register on the e-Kisan Upaj Nidhi gateway on the Jan Samarth portal with the repository account details issued to you; the gateway checks them electronically along with your credit record. Choose one of the bank offers it shows, take the in-principle approval to the bank, complete the documents and receive the loan.
